  2. Pyramids • The pyramids were built as tombs for the Pharaoh’s when they died. • The pyramids were made of limestone and just normal stone

  3. Pharaoh • The pharaoh is the king of Egypt • To become a pharaoh your father needs to be the pharaoh so you need to be in the royal family or have “royal blood”

  4. Burial Customs • Egyptians burry the dead so they could live the “afterlife” • The pharaohs would be placed in a tomb in a pyramid after their death • Egyptians wrap the dead in lintin

  5. Hierogliphics • Hierogliphics were how the Egyptians wrote • We spell thing differently now then they did back then

  6. Famous Pharaohs • Kufu: He build the tallest pyramid • Ramses 11: He had over 900 kids • King Tut: He was a pharaoh at the age of 8 and sadly died at the age of 18

  7. Interesting Facts • Egyptian children didnt wear cloths until their teenagers • Egyptians hated body hair so they shaved off their eyebrows and the top of their heads
