  • Distractions are things that lead a detective off the path and make the search longer.

  • INTRODUCTION: Beginning-learn about the problem and meet the characters.
  • BODY OF STORY: Middle-someone is working to solve the mystery.
  • CONCLUSION: End-mystery is solved.
