Purpose Aims to help countries to: • Conduct operational research (OR) in accordance with their own priorities • Develop adequate and sustainable OR capacity in public health programmes; and • Create an organizational culture of policy and practice that is informed by OR and leads to improved programme performance

  10. Plans • More diseases and public health issues addressed • More complex research/training being undertaken • Partnering with other agencies and initiatives • A focus on building critical mass of operational research capacity in countries
