  2. The Springtime of the Church Year • Why is Lent called a springtime? The changes in us are like the changes we see in nature during spring. • Which feast is celebrated at the end of Lent? Easter • What are the three practices of Lent? Prayer, fasting, almsgiving (charity work/donations)

  3. Preparing for Easter During Lent we pray more often. • What are some ways in which we might enhance our prayer during Lent? Read from the Bible; pray in the morning; pray in the evening; celebrate the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation; pray before the Blessed Sacrament; attend Mass more often.
