Bio • Was born in Rome, Italy on July 8th,1593 • Was raped at the age of 17 by Agostino Tassi. • This is the reasoning behind her paintings. • Married Pierantonio Stiattesi and they had four sons • and one daughter together and they lived in Florence • Returned to Rome in 1621 • Died in 1652 in Naples, Italy
