  2. Summer ExternalExamination Dates • The first external written examination is Monday 13th May 2013 Religious Studies AM French Listening & Reading PM AS-Maths Core 2 PM • The last external written examination is Monday 24th June 2013 GCSE Physics Module 7

  3. Practical Examinations • Take place during March, April and May. • GCSE Music Practical Exam • GCSE French Speaking • GCSE Spanish Speaking • GCSE PE Moderation Day • GCSE Art Practical Exam Students will be informed when their sessions are.

  4. Daily Routine • School Uniform Must Be Worn! • AM Exams – meet in Lecture Theatre at 8:50am unless indicated. • PM Exams – meet in Lecture Theatre at 1:15pm unless indicated.

  5. More Daily Routine… Personal Exam Timetables • Students should check exam timetables carefully. • Speak to someone if you think there is an error. • IMPORTANT DOCUMENT – KEEP IT SAFE!! • We will issue students with a couple of timetables – one could go in a prominent position at home!

  6. CLASHES OF EXAMS • A clash is when GCSE exams are scheduled at the same time by the examination boards. • Students will have to sit the exams one after the other – final scheduling to be arranged – it will appear on their timetables! • Students have to remain supervised between examinations.

  7. Even More Daily Routine… • Students should check the wipeboard outside the lecture theatre – this will give reminders and key information. • Seating plans and exam times will be posted outside the lecture theatre and exam rooms.

  9. Equipment • Bring the equipment you need for the exam in a clear pencil case or bag. • BLACK BALLPOINT PEN • PENCIL • RUBBER • RULER • CALCULATOR (For Science and Maths, without lid) • COLOURING PENCILS (For DT) • Other specific equipment.

  10. More Equipment • MOBILE PHONES • MP3 PLAYERS • IPODS / IPADS / IPHONES • Other electronic devices. • Students are advised to bring in only the bare essentials that they need for the exam.

  11. Other Information • Bottled water is allowed in clear, see-through bottle - any labels must have already been removed. • Trained external exam invigilators will be used. • If students are unsure about any aspect, ASK!! • The earlier an error on an exam timetable is rectified – the better!!!
