  3. THE PORT OF BAR * Advantageous geographical position;* Free zone regime on the whole port area;* Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008;* Integral information system;* Implemented standard of ISPS Code;

  4. The Port of Bar, at this moment, covers the area of 200 ha (including the port aquatorium of approximately 80 ha). According to the Detail Urban Plan (DUP), aditional cca 400 ha are dedicated for further port development. THE PORT OF BAR INFRASTRUCTUREI SUPERSTRUCTURE

  5. THE PORT OF BAR The capacitiy of the Port of Bar is 5 million tones, of different types of cargoes, per year!TERMINALS: Container terminal, Timber terminal, Grain terminal, Bulk cargo terminal, Liquid cargo terminal, Ro-Ro and passenger terminal, General cargo terminal

THE PORT OF BAR BULK CARGO TERMINALTerminal is specializedforhandling ores, other types of bulk cargo, scrap ironetc.* the length of the operational quayis 550 m;* the depth of the port aquatorium is 14 m;*the open storage area is 5 ha;* three gantry crane with 12 t capacity are installed;* mobile harbour cranes with capacity 25 t at the outreach of 44 m and 22 t at the outreach of 42 m;

  7. THE PORT OF BAR GRAIN TERMINALAvailable equipment at this Terminal enable handling operations with grain on different relations: ship – silo and vice versa, truck – silo and vice versa, wagon – silo and vice versa.* Grain silo with capacity of30 000 t;

THE PORT OF BAR CONTAINER TERMINAL(1)* The length of the operational quay is 330 m;* The depth of the water area is 12 m;* In this moment, terminal covers the area of 45 900 m2;* 205 service connectionsfor refrigerated containers;* According to the DetailUrbanPlan development area of the Container Terminal is 30 ha;

THE PORT OF BAR CONTAINER TERMINAL(2) MSC: GIOIA TAURO / BAR / ANCONA / GIOIA TAURO – weekly service EVERGREEN: TARANTO /PIRAEUS / DURRES / BAR / TARANTO  - service per ten days CMA CGM:  MALTA / BAR / DURRES / MALTA  - weekly service MCL LINE: CAGLIARI / PLOCE / BAR / CAGLIARI – weekly service Recently introduced line: CASTELLON – DURRES – BAR - CASTELLON – service per two weeks (transit times: 4 – 6 days).

  10. THE PORT OF BAR CONTAINER TERMINAL(3) CONTAINER BLOCK TRAINS Existing: Bar – Belgrade: once per week; Bar – Skopje: on demand;

THE PORT OF BAR CONTAINER TERMINAL(4) CONTAINER BLOCK TRAINS Planned: Bar – Belgrade – Arad (Romania) Bar – Nis (Serbia) – Sofia (Bulgaria) It is expected that trains will start very soon – as a part of the Project “In.Ka.Tra.Sys” (under program “Marco Polo II) which aims to establish cargo flows from Southern Italy (The Port of Bari) via The Port of Bar to Romania and Bulgaria. Bar – Belgrade – Budapest (Hungary) Joint Agreement between The Port of Bar, Montenegrin Railways, Serbian Railways and Hungarian Railways regarding the introducing regular container block train on this direction was signed. The process of looking for train operator is under way.

THE PORT OF BAR GENERAL CARGO TERMINAL Terminal is designedfor handling all type of general cargoes. * the length of the operational quayis 1370 m;* the average depth of the port aquatoriumis 11 m;* closed storage area (120 000 m2);* open storage area (300 000 m2);* Cold storage plant: 7.800 m2 net area (for different temperature regimes – from - 20 0 C to + 13 0 C;* available cranes with capacities within the range: 3 t to 32 t (14 pcs.)

THE PORT OF BAR TIMBER TERMINALTerminal consists ofseveral subsystems: acceptance and despatch, storagesawn wood, sortingandforming units for despatch, drying of woods and others.* Area of the Terminal: 5,86 ha;* the storage area: 23 400 m2of covered space;* Capacityof the terminal ranges from 40 000 to 60 000m3/year, depending on type and shape of wood products.

  14. THE PORT OF BAR PASSENGER AND RO-RO TERMINALThe Port of Bar has specialized passenger and ro-ro terminal with five berths. There areregular or seasonal linesfrom Bar to Bari (Italy), Ankona (Italy)and other ports.

THE PORT OF BAR LIQUID CARGO TERMINAL specialized for handling oil and oil derivates on relations ship-installations-reservoirs and vice versa*the depth of the port aquatorium is 12,5 m * JUGOPETROL Kotor 23 reservoirs with total capacityof 116 600 m3 *MSK - Kikindadischarging point for acetic acide with capacity 600 t/h * specialized reservoirs for oil, capacity 1.400 m3 Estimated costs for developing capacities for liquid cargoes and gas ·DEVELOPING NEW LIQUID CARGO TERMINAL (infrastructure + suprastructure) – capacity 200.000 m3 – 500 000 000 € ·DEVELOPING NEW CAPACITIES FOR GAS – capacity 8000 m3 – 5 – 8 000 000 €

THE PORT OF BAR -All economical activities can be carried out Inside the Free Zone Port of Bar except those that pose treat to the environment, health of people, material goods and security of the country. -It has been provided absolute equality of rights for investors from abroad in terms of right to investment, obtaining ownership rights on constructed facilities and organizing activities in Them. -Goods entering the Zone are not liable to customs, custom duties and value added taxes regardless of the type of imported goods and its purpose in the zone. -Goods entered into the Zone is allowed to stay there for unlimited time. - etc.

Development of capacities • Building new operational quays; • Building new capacities for container handling (dredging water area, paving additional container yard, extending operational quay, etc.) • Building new capacities for grain; • Building new capacities for acetic acid, LNG; etc. • 2. THE PORT OF BAR • RESTRUCTURING PROCESS, PRIVATIZATION • Introducing Landlord model is planned (Port Authority will be established – with complete responsibilities regarding Port infrastructure, than concessions will be given to different operators – nowadays “The Port of Bar” H.Co. will got priority concessions for the next 12 years); • Privatization is planned for the year 2009; • Operations will be privatized;
