  3. Which species of fish has the highest average length and weight? What might this indicate about this species of fish’s trophic level? • Highest length and weight was: large mouth bass and pumpkin seed • We can infer that these two species may be on the top of the trophic level

What might a lack of variety in terms of fish size indicate a bout the lake? • Yes, we caught a variety of fish sizes • This may indicate that there is not a large supply of food; therefore, they are all the same size • The fish are reproducing • Indicated that there is a lack of nutrients in the lake • Lake pollution interrupts food chain • Species prefer different environments that may be further into the lake
