  3. Ayah 204 And of the people is he whose speech pleases you in worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the fiercest of opponents.

  5. أَلَدُّ الْخِصَامِ He claims to be a Friend and a Well-Wisher but When something goes against his desire: his attitude changes, the eloquence, the beauty in his language vanishes, instead he starts fighting

  6. Ayah 205 And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption.

  7. وَإِذَا تَوَلَّى سَعَى فِي الأَرْضِ

  8. Imagine a Person

  9. Analyze! Am I Harming the Environment Around Me? Cleaning Homes without Bleach Recycling, organic bins Preferring organic, locally grown food As soon as you have authority, you become a tyrant

  10. Ayah 206 And when it is said to him, "Fear Allah ," pride in the sin takes hold of him. Sufficient for him is Hellfire, and how wretched is the resting place.

  11. أَخَذَتْهُ الْعِزَّةُ بِالإِثْمِ Arrogance & ...? Even Upon telling Fear Allah Only Hellfire could break it When Omar was told fear Allah! IbnAbbas (r.a) said that the greatest sin is that when a person is asked to fear Allah, he says: alaykabinafsik- mind your business.

  12. Lesson When a person uses the Name of Allah and says something which is true – Listen to It with Humility & Accept It! No Matter How Bitter It Is

  13. Ayah 207 And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah . And Allah is kind to [His] servants.

  14. وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِي نَفْسَهُ Ego, Interests, Rest, Share, Right, Will, Choice, Favorite Things, Sleep, comfort, food, enjoyment  to gain pleasure of Allah We need to give up something Tauba:111 Fiction For Pleasure of Allah

  15. Personality Test Do I give away every thing for Pleasure of Allah? OR Do I prefer my Pleasure over Allah’s?

  16. Are You? • Dunya Oriented • Akhirah Oriented I prefer Allah’s Pleasure

  17. Ayah 208 O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

  18. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ادْخُلُواْ فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً Implement Everything Don’t Leave Out Any Command Don’t be a Part Time Muslim!

  19. Traffic Law Example We can’t say I will follow some of the driving signs and rules and won’t follow some as I am not ready for them yet

  20. Al-Hasan Al-Basree said: If the shaytaan looks at you and sees that you are consistent in an act of obedience to Allaah, he will try to come to you again and again. If he sees that you are persistent in your actions (despite his efforts) he will tire of you and leave you. But if he sees that you are one day like this and one day like that, he will have high hopes in you. وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ Every way Allah has forbidden Whatever Allah dislikes Foot steps – one wrong action leads to another If the shaytaan looks at you and sees that you are consistent in an act of obedience to Allah, he will try to come to you again and again. If he sees that you are persistent in your actions (despite his efforts) he will tire of you and leave you. But if he sees that you are one day like this and one day like that, he will have high hopes in you. Prophet said about UmarIbnKhattab , “the Shaytan is certainly afraid of you, O Umar.” He also said, “I can see the Shayateen among the jinn and mankind running away from Umar.” Allah’s Messenger also said to Umar once, “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, no Shaytan sees you walking along a path but he takes a different path.” Al Hasan Al Basree

  21. Ayah 209 But if you deviate after clear proofs have come to you, then know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

  22. Steps of Shaitaan…

  23. Ayah 210 Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.

  24. Ponder! No matter how much we try to run away from Allah, from His Commands at the end we will be returned to Him.

  25. Ayah 211 Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. And whoever exchanges the favor of Allah [for disbelief] after it has come to him - then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

  26. Guidance Misguidance فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

  27. Ayah 212 Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allah are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account.

  28. Ayah 213 Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over the Scripture except those who were given it - after the clear proofs came to them - out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.

  29. Lesson When there is an ikhtilaaf in any matter, what should the person do? فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللهِّ وَالرَّسُولِ

  30. Ayah 214 Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

  31. الْبَأْسَاء وَالضَّرَّاء وَزُلْزِلُواْ Believers will be tested

  32. Some Facts! Believers will be tested Jannah is surrounded by difficulties & trials When a person accepts the truth - he has to sacrifice

  33. HELP OF ALLAH IS NEAR 
