  3. 1 Program…2 Levels Coaching Staff: Coach Youngblood, Coach Butz & Coach Parham will work with everyone and coach ALL games. Consistency & Unity are very important! Swing players are expected to be at each of the Varsity and JV games. Players can move up or down at any time depending on # of games, needs & performance. Program Structure

  4. Jun – Jul: Summer Practices/workouts/team bonding Aug – Oct*: Season Nov – Jan: Strength + Speed/Agility workouts Mar – Apr: 2 on 1 workouts May: Tryouts * JV will end at the end of Sep, V goal to play to Halloween Program Timeline

  5. The hope is that we as a “TEAM” can come together during the summer to practice/train to get better and get a head-start on the upcoming season. We also want to have some events to get the team together to build relationships and have some FUN! Varsity [26 games] – 1 scrimmage/15 region/11 non-region JV [14-18 games] – 10 region/4-8 non-region Fall Break = Monday Sept. 25 – Sunday Oct. 1 *Varsity + swing girls can leave Friday Sept. 22 after practice and need to be back to practice Wednesday Sept. 27. Game on Thursday Sept. 28* Playoffs: Round 1 – Oct. 11-12, Round 2 – Oct. 18-19, Finals – Oct. 25-28 Season Schedule Highlights

  9. These are items that will be given to each player once the season starts. They are theirs’ to keep. 1. White and Black Game Pants 2. Game Visor or hat 3. Crimson, Black and White Belt 4. Crimson, Black and White Socks 5. Practice Shirts (2) 6. Practice Shorts (2) 7. Team Bat Bag 8. Helmet 9. Hooded Sweatshirt or Pullover 10. Long-sleeve or ¾-sleeve Softball Player Packages

  10. These are items that each softball player is responsible for getting on their own. 1. Spikes 2. Turf Shoes 3. Extra Shirts, Shorts, Pullovers, Sweats 4. Under Jersey Dri-Fit Shirt 5. Batting Gloves 6. Glove 7. Bat 8. Practice Pants Softball Individual Player Needs

  11. Conduct yourself in a first class manner at all times. Follow all team guidelines* these will be addressed with the team at the beginning of the season*, regardless of in-season or off-season. Participate in all activities designed to help/promote the program. Fundraisers, community service. Expectations for Players
