Hi Cecile • Get coordinated with dave and john s. to check for consistency and to avoid too much redundancy ( some is ok) • Performance requirements must be identical to those in the LCLS website. • The items or subsystems on your performance requirements list should correspond to dave dowell’s list • Conclusions- (choose your own words to communicate the following) • most of the LCLS injector linac is standard SLAC design, no technical risk • Gun performance has received a lot of attention; simulations agree with GTF measurements • -LCLS has safety margin for reaching saturation with this injector (coordinate this with HD and paul) • I don’t yet know how to present the followrng • -lower injector energy • -possible need for modification of first accelerating structure to dual-feed • Cover progress in gun simulation in some detail, report added features. • Coordinate comparison with GTF measurements with dave dowell – a little repetition is just fine • But you should not spend overmuch time going over the same data in the same detail Presenter’s Name, Organization
