  2. Chlamydia • Chlamydia is caused by bacterium called Chlamydia Trachomatis. • Symptoms for males are pain when urinating, Swelling of the scrotal area, and pus from the penis. • Symptoms for females include intermittent vaginal bleeding and pain when urinating.

  4. Syphilis • Stage 1: Syphilis is caused by spirochetes that produce a chancre, a chancre is a hard, round painless, sore. • Stage 2: Then a rash of small patches covers the body. The rash doesn’t itch, but other symptoms might be fever, headache, and loss of weight of hair and weight. • Stage 3: Symptoms might appear and disappear several times, this is known as the hidden stage.

HPV (Genital Warts) • Genital Warts are dry, wartlike growths that are caused by a virus. • The warts are soft, they are usually red or pink, and resemble a small cauliflower. • If not treated HPV can lead to cancer. • HPV can be removed by laser surgery, freezing and burning them, but they will come back

Herpes • Herpes is caused by a virus that produces cold sores or blisters in the genital area. • Symptoms of herpes occur within a week after contact which include small painful blisters that appear in the genital area. In a few days blisters turn into painful open sores. Symptoms may go away in 2-4 weeks

  10. Pubic Lice • Pubic lice can spread through sexual contact. It can also spread by the use of towels, bed sheets, and clothing used by an infected person. • Symptoms of pubic lice are burning and itching of the pubic region. Also, the itching might get worse at night. • This can be treated by trimming hair, or using prescribed or over the counter medicines. • If left untreated, it can cause skin injuries.

Gonorrhea • Gonorrhea is a bacterium that can be spread through contact of the mount, penis, vagina and anus. • Symptoms and signs include a burning sensation when urinating, or a white, yellow, or green discharge from the penis. Some people don’t get symptoms for 30 days. • It can be treated by medication or antibiotics. It will not fix permanent problems or scars. • In woman, they can also infect their baby if they are pregnant.

  14. NGU • NGU is caused by several different kinds of bacteria or other organisms. It is mostly caused by Chlamydia. • Symptoms of NGU is an infection of the urethra that may cause burning with urination or a discharge of either mucus or pus. • Treatment involves taking oral antibiotics for at least 7 days. • Males can go through a great deal of pain and woman can get Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or have a miscarriage.

  16. PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) • A woman can get pelvic inflammatory disease if bacteria move up from her vagina and infect her pelvic organs. This disease is mostly caused by Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. • The most common symptom is pain in your lower abdomen (stomach). Also, there is fever, vaginal discharge that may smell, painful sex, painful urination, and irregular periods. • PID can’t be cured but it can be helps by taking antibiotics. Even after symptoms go away you have to keep taking the medicine.
