Dr Thomas Taylor Houston Senior Lecturer

Dr. Thomas Taylor became a Professor of Surgery at The Baylor College of Medicine after moving to Houston, Texas in 1993. After eight years in the role, he ascended to the position of Chief of Academic Surgery at the college, also taking on a role as the Chief of Postgraduate Medical Education. During his time at Baylor, he helped to mold hundreds of medical students into successful professionals.

Dr Thomas Taylor Senior Lecturer In addition to being an accomplished surgeon in his own right, Dr. Thomas Taylor has always been interested in passing on his knowledge to the next generation of medical professionals. Before he moved to Houston to work as a Professor of Surgery, he was the Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he used his experience to provide lessons to others.

  2. Dr Thomas Taylor Teaching Anatomy DrThomas Taylor Houston has always had an interest in teaching. Before making the decision to move to Houston, Texas, he spent a year teaching the subject of Anatomy at the University of Manchester. He followed this up by becoming a Resident at the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, though his passion for teaching has burned bright throughout the course of his career.

He spent much of his career working in England, but made the decision to move to Houston and become a Professor of Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in 1993. This offered him the chance to continue building his reputation, while also teaching younger professionals about the field.
