  2. Dialation • Enlargement- an enlargement is when your original shape dilates into a bigger figure. • Reduction- a reduction is when your original figure dilates into a smaller figure. ENLARGEMENT REDUCTION

  3. translation Translation- a translation is when you translate your original figure across the graph into whatever new coordinates THE TOP ARROW SLID INTO THE BOTTOM ONE. THIS IS CALLED A TRANSLATION.

  4. reflection • Reflection- a reflection is when you flip your original figure across whatever axis and still looks the exact same, but has new coordinates ORIGINAL EXAMPLE: THE 2 ARROWS REFLECTED NEW

  5. SCALE FACTOR  • SCALE FACTOR is used on an enlargement in order to go > 1

  6. Scale factor ;) • SCALE FACTOR is used on an reduction in order to go <1

  7. PERIMETER AND AREA • PERIMETER AND AREA would be affected because when a shape as a whole gets bigger , the perimeter and area cant just stay the same. So you would have to find the scale factor, WHICH IS FINDING THE NEW PERIMETER DIVIDED BY THE ORIGINAL PERIMETER.
