4. Focal points What Shots? A crow circled high above the shadows of the forest with its black wings beating. The dark trees stood out against the moon-washed sky, their branches reaching out into the night. From out of the darkness a figure emerged, a tiny speck against the dark of the forest. As the figure drew nearer, white clouds of breath rose into the darkness, and a faint rasping sound could be heard through the whisper of the night breeze. An owl’s cry echoed through the forest.
