The AS-i module for the harshest conditions When selecting an AS-Interface module for applications on assembly machines or in process automation, robustness, product quality and protection against ingress combined with compact dimension, flexible mounting, and connection options are the most important considerations The G11 family of AS-Interface modules fulfills all of these requirements. The modules are impact resistant, and a pioneering mechanical design delivers an IP68/69k protection rating to ensure a long service life. The module has a compact 85 mm diameter and still allows connection of 8 input/outputs. Due to its innovative round housing design the module always uses the same space; independent of the direction of the AS-Interface flat cable. Mounting with M5 screws provides superior stability. Radial O-ring seal Redundant sealing concept – just superior Radially sealing O-rings hermetically lock the interior without encapsulation No aging; lasting IP68/69k protection Every G11 module is suitable for pressure washer cleaning G11 materials are resistant against oils and cleaning solutions The smooth module surface limits the accumulation of dirt The mounting plate can be used with spacers to create a gap between the module and the mounting surface.
