  2. EVENT MISSION • Meet the Hippos night is being promoted by the Hutto Education Foundation. The event mission is to: • promote pride and spirit, • introduce HEF and it’s mission to the public, • introduce coaches, sponsors, teams, and organizations, • encourage participation and support for organizations, • and generate support and / or fund-raising for school organizations as well as HEF. • Mostly importantly, kick off the new year on a positive note for a dynamic school year!

  3. PARTICIPANTS • HEF Board Members • Special Guest , State Representative, Diana Maldonado • Dr. Borrer • Coach Penland & Coaches (can list all) • School Organization Sponsors or Leaders (can list all organizations) • Organization Members • Community Leaders • Supporting Businesses • Parents

  4. EVENT AGENDA (tentative) • Ceremony will open with parade around stadium. All teams and organizations will end in designated place. • Opening - HEF President – Welcome – Mission • Introduce Special Guest Speaker (Diana Maldonado??) • Introduce Facilitator (i.e. determine speaker for HEF • Brief HEF Announcements – Invitation to participate. • (NEED TO DETERMINE HOW TO PRESENT – OPEN DISCUSSION AT MEETING) • Introduce Club Sponsors, Directors & Coaches (Clubs, Cheerleaders, Dance, Band Athletics, etc.) • Coaches • Teams – Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Baseball, etc.

SCHOOL ORGANIZATIONS • Art Club…and more Need to get list of organizations • National Honor Society • Mu Alpha Theta • Drama • Choir • Student Council • FCCLA • Spanish • French Club • Science Club • FFA • 4H • Band • Cheerleaders • Drill Team • Dance • Football Team • Basketball Team • Volleyball Team • Soccer • Softball • Baseball • Tennis • Track & Cross Country Support your students and school organizations!

  6. BOOTHS • All booths / tables / tents will be set up between field house and stands. Each organization will have sponsors, leaders, and students available to present their organization’s mission, and work on recruiting new members, as well as getting parental supporters through donations or sales of products, etc.Organizations: • Athletic Boosters • Band Boosters • Art Club • FFA • Chess Club • Honor Society • FCCLA • Etc……list all clubs here. • PROMOTE PRIDE IN YOUR ORGANIZATION!
