  2. Magnet School Placement for Academic Year 2013-2014 Magnet and Choice Schools Application and Placements Summary as of 05/02/13 First Choice Applicant Data Only Represents Individual Children NOT All Placement Requests. Applicants are allowed two choices. • All preschool students on wait list have been provided to Early Childhood offices to offer placement in SLPS non-magnet pre-schools. • The remaining applicants for all other grades will be sent a notice encouraging enrollment in the regular District assigned school based upon the applicant address provided. Nothing has been sent yet because we are still processing acceptances to magnet school programs. • Students who are not eligible for a magnet school but have been assigned to a neighborhood school will receive a personal call from that principal encouraging the families to enroll. • FUSE marketing doing radio, print, and billboard ads for magnet high schools.
