April 2012, Lund (Sweden) • Trainings • Aim of trainings: • Give a ”base-knowledge” as a foundament of national trainings for new auditors • Widen information-field for certified auditors • Introduce activities/deliverables in the frame of BALTRIS • Introduce available sources of RSA-RSI and NSM-RSIA best practice

Tutors • Project participants • External experts Participants • approx. 20 participants (4 groups) / training • Different experience of RSA, RSI, NSM, RSIA • Different organizations • Different expectations of the training • BALTRIS deliverables – Best practice, guidelines • Course materials • ”vital” books (ex: Elvik) • Training material Evaluation • Each activity (lectures, workshop, group work) • Relevance for the programme (1-5) • Presentation (1-5)

  6. Program: • Time – taylor made for our aim (almost too short) • Group work - prepare carefuly • Internet connection is good but.... Tutors: • One person= one topic (to ease addressing the question) Participants: • experienced auditors - ”beginners” • Student attitud – expert attitude ( discussion;  group work) • Do we really need a ”pre-exam”? • Language (terms) Evaluation: • Useful remarks • Lessons learned – RSA+RSI training

Key target groups: - all (no pre-exam, no final/home exam) Training options and programs: find a balance between- certification/manual based (national curricula) - Road Safety Engineering Exchange practice:- Pilot4Safety - previous EU programmes (EURO Audit, TIN) Trainings-How to take care of participants after the program finished? • Background activities
