  4. BOYS ADVISORIES Announcement • Please double check with your Advisor where you need to go for your workshop this afternoon!  You will need to be in the workshop room by 3:05.

  5. Writers' Magazine Meeting! • Writers' Magazine Meeting on WEDNESDAY 3:30-5:30 pm • Freshmen: Come as soon as advisory ends!) • We will be ordering pizza and working on putting the magazine together!

  6. Calling All Artists! • The Writers' Magazine needs a cover, and we want YOU to design it! • Submit your design to Ms. Sullivan's mailbox by Wednesday, June 1st Include the following components in the cover: • -Magazine Title: Much Inside • -Theme: The Voice Behind My Lips • -Year: 2010-2011 • -A unique, eye-catching design!

  7. Explore and Plan Tests are On June 8th! • Countdown: There are only 9 school days until the EXPLORE and PLAN tests!

Congratulations Chemistry Scholars! • 17 Students presented their chemistry projects at the Northwestern Project Showcase.  • Muchin SWEPT the chemistry categories!!!! • Janell Jackson's "Whoosh Bottle" won both Best in Show and the People's Choice Awards in the Cool Chem Show category. • Wesley Li, Darlean Martin, Ashley Loubriel, and Will Carter's "Atomopoly" won Best in Show in the Periodic Table Board Game category. • Congratulations to all who participated!!!

  9. Upcoming Community Service Opportunity There are still spots left to volunteer for the Soldier Field event! Details: • May 28th: Soldier Field 10 Mile Event, 5am-12pm SIGN UP on Ms. Mikolich’s Door!

  10. MCP Girls Softball Schedule This Week(5/23-5/27): Tuesday- No Practice. Go to office hours, study, etc. Wednesday- Practice (Meet at elevators promptly at 4pm! May be indoor depending on weather. Watch annoucements!) Thursday- Practice (Meet at elevators promptly at 4pm! ) and 2nd Annual MCP Sports Banquet at 6pm Friday- Practice on your own! Saturday- MCP vs. Pritzker at Mozart Park (Playoff Game! Meet at school at 10:30am. Game starts at 12:30pm)
