Maidu Indians . By: Erika Lim. The Maidu lived in tepees and huts. The tepees were made of bark and then tied together. The huts were made of straw. They would live in the huts during the summer, and would live in the tepees for winter. The Maidu Houses.

  2. The Maidu lived in tepees and huts. The tepees were made of bark and then tied together. The huts were made of straw. They would live in the huts during the summer, and would live in the tepees for winter. The Maidu Houses

  3. The Maidu hunted and fished for food. They hunted for deer, bear, buffalo, and rabbits. They would fish for salmon Food

  4. The Maidu wore animal skin, bark aprons, and grass skirts and more. In the summer the Maidu wouldn’t wear much clothing in the summer, but would begin to wear more when winter comes. Clothing

  5. The Maidu tools were stones to crack acorns, bow and arrows, nets, snares, and traps. They would use this to hunt animals or prepare food. Tools

  6. Their art was making baskets. Their baskets were very beautiful and had a lovely pattern. Art
