  5. OBJETIVOS Valorar porcentaje del virus del papiloma humano (HPV) en las pacientes con atipias de células escamosas de significado incierto (ASCUS)

  6. MATERIAL Y MÉTODOS 210.000 habitantes pacientes a las que se les realizó citología cérvico-vaginal (ccv) entre enero de 2008 y enero de 2010. Criterios de inclusión: ccv ASCUS según la clasificación de Bethesda. Protocolo: determinación del ADN del HPV mediante captura híbrida y tipaje con PCR microarray. 2700

  7. RESULTADOS Se revisaron 2700 ccv, de las cuales 237 (8,77%) fueron diagnosticadas de ASCUS 47 19,83% 190 80,17%

  8. RESULTADOS 23 (48,93%) de ellas por ccv tras tratamiento normal. En 9 (19,14%) de los casos se realizó directamente colposcopia y biopsia. 15 pacientes abandonaron el seguimiento.

  9. RESULTADOS En 190 ccv se realizó la determinación del virus . En el 71,05% de los casos la determinación del virus resultó negativa, mientras que en el 28,95% fue positiva.

  10. CONCLUSIONES La prevalencia de infección por HPV en nuestro medio en mujeres con ccv de ASCUS fue del 28,95%.
