  3. Frosh of the Living Dead • Revenue: $161,170.84 • Expenses: $145,083.51 • Profit: $16,087.33 • On par with Frosh Prince of Bel Air

  4. Bar des Arts • Revenue: $24,250.00 • Expense: $31,383.76 • Loss: $7,133.76 • 2012 – 2013: • Revenue: $44,281.99 • Expenses: $49,270.34 • Loss: $4988.35

  5. Accountant Fees • Audit, FY 2013: $25,007.07 • Bookkeeping: $5879.72 • 2012 – 2013 (total): $26,914.76

  6. Exec Perks • September retreat: $834.83 • Hoodies: $432.31 • Winter retreat: $145.10 • Transition Day: $210.50 • Free beer at BdA: Priceless • Total: $1622.74

  7. Food and Alcohol • Samosa Sale Revenue: $9408.50 • Samosa Sale Expenses: $5095.73 • Samosa Sale Profit: $4312.77 • Samosas Purchased: ~14,4450 • Amount spent on Alcohol (not including Frosh or BdA): $8,714.43 • Food (not including samosas): $15,360.68

  8. conclusion • Our financial position is a drastic improvement from two years ago • Audit expenses will drastically fall, hopefully to below $10,000 • Budget less conservatively for frosh; trust the projections! • Future executives should not be afraid to run a deficit • Overall a great year for the aus; the numbers do not tell the whole story
