  1. Getting Enough Vitamin D This Winter You shouldn't get all of your protein from supplements and protein drinks. Make sure that you are eating plenty of lean whole food proteins as well. Foods like chicken breast, tuna fish, lean beef, cottage cheese and egg whites are fantastic sources of protein that should be included in a muscle building/fat burning diet plan. Protein bars are an excellent source of protein when you're on the run, so don't overlook the importance of keeping a few on hand for those times when you're pressed for time. There's more than one good source of protein that you should rely on when getting in shape.
