  1. Hypnosis for weight loss Hypnosis is a state of human consciousness involving focused attention, reduced peripheral awareness, and an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion. Hypnosis is a technique that can be used to treat different conditions. It’s even said to help in weight loss. Yes, you read that right. Hypnosis is now being used as a weight loss method. It’s said that when you're under hypnosis, your attention is highly focused, and you're more responsive to suggestions, including behaviour changes that can help you lose weight. According to a study published in Nature journal, which looked at the two specific forms of hypnotherapy versus simple diet advice for weight loss and sleep apnea, it was noticed all the 60 participants who underwent hypnosis lost 2 to 3 per cent of their body weight in 3 months. After following up after 18-months, the scientists found out that hypnotherapy group had lost another 8 pounds on average. However, scientists said that weight loss was not significant. Weight-loss hypnosis may help you shed an extra few pounds when it's part of a weight-loss plan that includes diet, exercise and counselling. So, we can’t say if hypnosis alone is a foolproof way to lose weight. However, here are some proven ways to lose weight which will help you in weight loss with or without taking hypnosis therapy.

  2. Move your body- Try to get exercise on most days of the week. On days, you can’t make sure you stay physically active throughout the stay. Take the stairs, walk whenever you can and try to work around the house as much as you can. Maintain a food diary- Keep a record of how much you eat, what you ate, when you ate, and whether or not ate out of hunger. Doing so may help you identify your bad habits and replace them with better ones. Eat clean- Aim for five servings of fruit and vegetable each day. You should also add more fibre to your diet it keeps you fuller for longer and hence prevents weight gain. Stay hydrated- Drink at least six to eight glasses of water every day. It helps prevent you from overeating and also helps in flushing out toxins which lead to gain weight. Don’t skip meals- Skipping meals can slow down your metabolism. So, make sure you’re not skipping meals, especially your breakfast. In conclusion, we can only say that if you want to try sleep hypnosis for weight loss, go ahead but don’t cheat on your diet or workout routine.
