Christian Norberg-Schulz, Genius Loci : Towards a Phenomenology of Architecture (New York : Rizzoli, 1985)
Experiencing Architecture Sense of Existence Sense of Being-in-the-world Sense of Belonging Sense of Place

To think of Phenomenology of Architecture is to help man get back to authentic dwelling In short, to use Phenomenology as a method is to understand ‘the Production of Meaning’outside the realm of Semiotics To study Phenomenology in architecture is to learn ‘how to create sensual space, feeling, make the sense of belonging’, enlarging opportunity for people to experience it.
THE NEW RESIDENCE AT THE SWISS EMBASSY (Washington D.C., United States, 2001–2006) Steven Holl
