  2. Your Quest… Larry and the crew have escaped from the Museum of Natural History again. This time, they want to travel with you and your class and on a Webquest through the Oregon Trail! Watch the You Tube video link below to become familiar with the Oregon Trail. In the following slides, We want you to: Learn the survival language of the Oregon Trail. Using the list provided, calculate the cost of what a modern day trip to the Oregon Trail might cost. Journal what happens on your trip every day. Learn the States established as a result of the Oregon Trail. Copy ONE artifact (A COVERED WAGON) for Larry and the crew to take back to their cyber Museum of Natural History. Using MS Word, type and print out a list of the words, and states with their definitions to take with you on your journey.   10. TIME TO GO SHOPPING! GREAT NEWS! Larry brought the tablet of Ak-Mun-Rah with him which will make gold coins but ONLY to buy things you need for your trip. Each coin is worth $50.00. Using the list on the next slide, insert an Excel spreadsheet on slide #11. Use function for SUM to total your list items. Figure out total amount of money you’re going to need from the tablet then get it from Larry. Spend wisely, the tablet knows need from want items and it will only make what it deems necessary. Don’t worry, there will be stores every 100 miles on the Oregon Trail where you can buy more.

Describe a tragic event that happened to your family or another family you know AND HOW YOU ALL WORKED TOGETHER TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM. This CANNOT be death. Tell about your food supply and the meals you have been eating. Explain whether or not you’ve made any NEW friends. Who are they? What do you do together? Include an illustration as well.
