  4. Time Worked • Using the instructions on the timesheet, input the hours actually worked. • Do not populate the hours worked columns for vacation/sick days.

  5. Leave Codes • Only input hours into the columns related to vacation/sick or other leave time used. • See the table within the timesheet spreadsheet for Leave codes to use. • If your leave does not have an appropriate Leave code, detail your comments in the Notes section of the timesheet.

  7. Overtime / Compensatory Time • Overtime/Comp Time is based on the total amount of your WEEKLY hours. For example, overtime is earned not by the day, but by the week in excess of 40 hours. • Input overtime/comp time in the appropriate column and also total in the OVT/CTE section at the bottom.

  8. FMLA • Family Medical Leave Act • FML does not apply to all sick leave situations. • If you have FML questions, please contact Patsy Henderson in Human Resources.

  9. Understanding Macros • The timesheet can be cleared by simply clicking on the “CLEAR” button at the top of the timesheet. • The macros can be turned on or off by reviewing the grey area in the bottom right section of the spreadsheet.
