Topic of the Day – GETTING HELP • Do you know anyone who has a drug problem? • What are some ways we can approach a person who may need help? • How do people act when they abuse drugs?
Topic of the Day – GETTING HELP • Why do people sometimes find it hard to admit they need help when it comes to drugs? • Is it ok for people to ask for help, for those who can’t ask for help for themselves? Why or why not? • Who can we get help from?
Addicted.org • According to Addicted.org, In the city of El Paso, there are over 15 different drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers and different programs available to help substance abuse issues. • Drug rehabilitation programs provide different types of cares from center to center • It is important to look at and talk to as many different substance abuse programs so as to find one that a person will feel comfortable with and will want to attend.
