Why is it important to know about social networks? • Facebook and MySpace are among the top most trafficked websites in North America and the world • Each site has over 100 million users • These sites have minimal overlap of users; they do serve different audiences • Commonly used for communication by teens and youth today

  6. What do social networks mean to The American Legion Family? • Youth are using these sites every day; ensure safety of our children on the Internet • The audiences you want to reach are using these sites • Great way to promote The American Legion Familyand its programs
