  2. EALL • Three languages sections: Chinese, Japanese, and Korean • Largest department of its kind in the nation • Types of courses: language, linguistic, and literature • Chinese languages consist of Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese • Degree programs: BA, MA, and Ph.D in all three languages

  3. Statistics • 74 faculty members • (Chinese: 18, Japanese: 49, Korean: 7) • 2,000+ students per semester • Degree-seeking students: • B.A. • (Japanese: 102, Chinese: 14, Korean: 6) • Graduate level • (Japanese: 52, Chinese: 15, Korean: 10)
