Leadership Development Team • Dr. Kelly An (Director), x8264 • Oversees all programs, facilitates Aspiring Principal and Future Administrator workshops • Kimberly Dueñas (Coordinator), x8265 • Manages budget, coordinates workshops, program liaison • Janelle Harmon (HR Analyst) • Analyzes collected data from programs, prepares annual program report

  3. Preparing for the Future To address this urgent need, we must: • Think strategically about our pipeline; • Be proactive about leadership development; and • Involve all current district leaders in our efforts. 25+ Possible Principal Vacancies by 2018

The Ideal Candidate • Considered an outstanding teacher/ counselor • Has had formal leadership roles at school site(s) • Has both expertise and general knowledge • Has demonstrated exceptional ability to work with adults • Understands the time commitment needed to be an administrator • Wants to be an AP/VP, and eventually Principal
