  5. Danube Flood 2013 • Meteorological background: 4 rainy days (110-140 mm in areal average) on 3 main sub-catchments of the Danube (Upper-Danube, Inn, Traun-Enns) • New highest water levels (above Mohács) • Successful flood defense with national collaboration

  8. Danube Flood ProtectionProject • The project contains 11 construction elements improvement of 200 km dikes. • Approximately 100 million € project costs (28,3 billion HUF) • Beginning of constructions: 2012 June • Closing of the project: 2015 January (extended due to the flood of 2013)
