  5. Data Analysis • Robust analysis of SQA data – authority, school, department and teacher levels • Challenging underachievement • Analysis of specific factors: gender, poverty etc • Robust tracking of leaver destinations • Insight

  6. 3-18 Raising Attainment Strategy • Improvement Framework • Learning Community approach • Cross-sectoral work • Developing a 3-18 curriculum which is progressive, coherent and challenging

  7. Closing the Gap • Year-on year improvement S4- S6 across all measures • 39.1% of learners in WD in SIMDs 1 & 2 • 5.8% of learners in WD in SIMDs 9 & 10 • WDC placed 3rd in Scotland for SOLACE Benchmark of % of students from SIMDs 1 & 2 achieving 5+ Level 6 by end of S6
