  2. FY07 Grants Timeline • PURPOSE: • Implement a timeline to submit proposals earlier in FY07.

  3. FY07 Grants Timeline • Benefits: • To ensure an earlier award date • To ensure more time to conduct valuable research • To even out workload for office and GMD.

  4. FY07 Grants Timeline • Implementation plan: • Request Divisions submit FY07 grants plan by June 9th. • Inform Cooperative Institutes (CIs) of priority areas for proposals. • Collaborate w/CI’s and other recipients in preparing proposals. • Recipients must submit all proposals via Grants.gov. • Identify funding sources early.
