INSTALLATION / RENTAL PROJECTORS PROPOSITION“Epson's brightest and most technologically advanced projectors yet” • Announcement date: 31st January 2012 at ISE • Sales availability date: • EB-Z8450WU / EB-Z8455WU: March 2012 • EB-Z10000 / EB-Z10005 and EB-Z8150: April 2012 • EB-Z8350W / EB-Z8355W: June 2012 • Who are we targeting? • White models (60-70%): static installation markets e.g. government, university auditorium, museums, large venues, conference centres, shopping centres, etc. • Black models (30-40%): • Rental market e.g. systems integrators who rent out projection equipment plus value added services such as event support. Typical applications would be for music events, conferences • E-cinema e.g. only used for showing the pre-film adverts and trailers as it avoids using up the life of the high-cost lamps for the 3D / high-quality projectors • Signage e.g. in retail environments and service businesses • Possibly a small percentage (no more than 20%) could be sold in the installation market • What do we want them to know – what sets us apart? • Epson is number one for projectors worldwide and has been since 2001* • Epson’s 3LCD technology provides an equally high White and Colour Light Output for bright pictures even in daylight • This is Epson’s first 10,000 lumens projector and is long awaited by our partners and the channel • This is the first time Epson offers ‘Edge Blending’ technology • This is the first time Epson offers an SDI port for the display of large signals such as music and broadcast, many other manufacturers offer this as an expensive optional module (only on the EB-Z8450WU / EB-Z8455WU) • We have a wide range of products spanning different resolutions and different lumens • We offer the Epson exclusive feature ‘Super Resolution’ *Source: Futuresource Consulting Limited, www.futuresource-consulting.com
