  3. What They Do: • Oil and gas well servicers drive trucks and operate specialized hydraulic pumping systems to place concrete in the walls of the well as well as treat the wells with chemicals, sand and gases to stimulate production.

  4. Education, Training and Experience • You need Training with an experienced operator • You need a community college diploma • It really makes a difference if you have experience in this line of work

What They Do: • Oil and gas drillers assemble pumping equipment and attach pumps and hoses to the well head • Operate hydraulic pumping systems to pump chemicals, gas and oil out of the well • Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and concentration • Align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem during removal or replacement of pipes.
