  4. Take out a sheet of paper. Number your paper straight down 1-13. You will WRITE the answers to 14-16 on your paper as well. But you will only input 1-13 into the iRespond. Turn to page 166. Textbook

  7. Keep in mind: Read aloud Record notes/ Costa Questions as you listen. Think about the time period of the story. Think about any new vocabulary in context. Be ready to ask Costa level 2 and three questions. Active Listening

  8. What are time element clues? Write Costa questions/ interpretive questions Write clues/evidence of importance from the story. Remember to take notes:

  11. Use your proper friendly letter form. This is an argumentative purpose. Apply the GO BLUE form. Three –four paragraphs. You must have a draft and a final copy in INK. (or typed.) Write a letter.

  16. Parents sometimes become too harsh on their children. Mr. and Mrs. Hadley, you cannot pull the rug out from under your children’s expectations. I feel that you must influence your children by spending more time with them, and NOT with removing their electronics. When you removed the “PICTURE PAINTER from the house, and then, secondly, refused Peter and Wendy’s request to ride the rocket to New York, you pulled their rug. You claim that you want to change the problem in the nursery by turning it off, but won’t you make the children’s behavior worse? Why not join the children IN the nursery? Why not join the children on the rocket trip to New York? Spend more time with your children.
