  8. In 2nd year I wish I knew… • No, LifeScis are not blood sucking vampires. You can (and should) make study groups! • How good a study spot Bracken Library is. • Don’t try to make it the same as first year, find new study habits. • Pick courses you like not ones you think will be “bird courses”. You’ll get a better mark and remember more. Plus it’s more rewarding. • How approachable everyone on LSSC is! They can office advice on courses, time management, career options, etc. • How much work can be done during the breaks between class. • A schedule is key to balance work, school and play! • How important summer is for figuring out stuff about your future. • In 2nd year you don’t have to take MBIO and STATS with the rest of the full SSP course load. • 2nd year may be tough, but you can do it!
