Dukan Diet • created by Pierre Dukan a French doctor • founded upon eating high-protein foods while limiting all carbohydrates including fruits, whole grains, legumes and starchy vegetables • Attack Phase - eating only pure protein food • Cruise Phase- days of protein only alternated with days of protein and vegetables • Consolidation Phase- allowed portion of fruit + two slices of whole-grain bread each day • Stabilization Phase- One day of the week eat only protein
