  7. Section 6 continued • Adjusted at the end of second school month for changes in ADA. • Incentives may not be purchased with this money.

  8. Section 6: (SEEK MONEY) Instructional materials money based on 3.5% of SEEK base per child: • Amount for FY 1996 = $2593 x.035 =$90.76 x prior year ADA (per child) • Amount for FY 1997 = $2673 x.035 =$90.76 x prior year ADA (per child)

  9. Section 7 – Distribution of Balance • Where will the extra money go?

  10. Section 7 Continued • An amount per prior year final ADA. • Based on pupil needs identified by school councils and designated by the local school board. • A combination of 1 and 2.

  11. Section 9 – Categorical Programs and Allocation of Professional Development Funds • Categorical Programs (i.e., Title I, Class Size Reduction, IDEA, ESS, Carl Perkins, etc.) • Professional Development Allocation
