  1. Science Foundation Life Cycle of Mammals

  2. We are mammals. Do you remember what we learned about mammals?

  3. Yes! We are warm-blooded and we have live birth. We don’t hatch and we don’t go through metamorphosis like some of the other animals we have talked about.

  4. Here is a picture of my oldest son when he was a baby.

  5. He looks different than he does now, he will grow and change all of his life, but he is just a young version of who he will become. Let’s see if you can match some more baby mammals to their mommies.

  6. Find each baby mammal’s mom.

  7. Mammals have what is called a simple life cycle. This just means that mammals are BORN and then they GROW UP.

  8. We don’t go through any metamorphosis although we do change gradually as we grow and age.

  9. Let’s watch a great mammal video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YSCLSFm2eA

  10. Homework:No homework tonight! Rest your brains! See you next time, Scientists!
