  2. Outlining Toolbar The Outlining Toolbar in the bottom left corner of the screen gives the viewing options Slide-Sorter View Outline View Normal View Preview Slide Slide View (Working View)

  3. Preview the Active Slide • To preview the slide you are working on: • Slide / Custom Animation / Preview • Use the slide preview tool in the outlining toolbar

  4. Slide Sorter View • See all your slides in… View / Slide Sorter View

  5. Outline View is found on the left side of the screen view. Outline View • Change titles, sub-headings • Move slides • Add text –type into outline view • Add and delete slides • Cut, copy and paste slides • Change font styles

  6. Saving Your Presentation • Go to …File + Save As to save your presentation as “filename.ppt” • Use Ctrl + S to save your changes after every slide.

  7. Opening a Saved Presentation: Double click on “filename.ppt” PowerPoint will launch automatically Open PowerPoint • Open an existing presentation • Click on “filename.ppt”

  8. Viewing Your Slide Show • View / Slide Show or • Slide Show / View Show • Press F5 to view the entire slide show presentation.

  9. Transitions Move Slides Transitions are special effects to advance slides as you view your presentation.
