  1. N. Abreu, M. Blaskiewicz, W. Fischer, P. Harvey, H. Burkhardt (CERN), J. Butler, K. Brown, K. Smith 04 May 2007 Energy loss of debunched 100 GeV/n gold beam at store

  2. LF Schottky, harmonic 3135 of frev, approx. 2 h

  3. Change of LF Schottky spectrum of 1h 40min

  4. Df/f = 7.5e-7/h Change of f with time, sc cooling equipment. (M. Blaskiewicz, P. Harvey)

  5. Df/f = 7.56e-7/h(same as sc number) Change of f with time, LF Schottky. (N. Abreu, K. Brown)

  6. Change of f-spread with time, LF Schottky. (N. Abreu, K. Brown) Not yet analyzed.

  7. Measured: Df/f = 7.56e-7 • Can be caused by • Dp/p = 4.1e-4/h (for DB = 0) • DB/B = +3.9e-4/h (for Dp/p = 0) • DB/B less than 1e-5/h, DB positive (Animesh) • [estimate from radius drift of bunched beam has 10x larger error] • Conclusion: • Dp/p = - 4.1e-4/h with about 10% error • Need to sort e-loss into • parasitic loss (impedance) • interaction with rest gas • synchrotron light (free space estimate: -7.4e-4/h, may have 50% suppression)
