Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. • Acts 2:22 "Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know — • Matt 15:31 so that the multitude marveled as they saw the dumb speaking, the crippled restored, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. Faith via the Miracles

  3. Concerning Miracles: • 1. Many exclaim “miracle” when none has occurred. • 1. When someone is healing rapidly. • 2. For the most natural of events. • 3. When someone escapes injury or death. Faith via the Miracles

  4. Concerning Miracles: • 2. Events involving Apparitions, • Example: “The Virgin Mary” • Delusions • Superstitions • Frauds • Magicians • Esp. Modern day fake “faith” healers. Faith via the Miracles

  5. Concerning Miracles: • 1. Those who do not believe in miracles today or in the Bible. NONE! • 2. Those who believe in things called miracles today and in the miracles of the Bible. EVERYWHERE! • Believers believe in the miracles of the Bible; but not in modern day miracles. • Not faith in the miracles; but faith via the miracles. Faith via the Miracles

Feeding 4000plus women and children • Matt 15:38 (16:10) and Mark 8:9 (8:20) • 7 loaves with 7 “large” baskets leftover Faith via the Miracles

  9. What do the Miracles tell us? • 1. Jesus is the Lord of the Creation. • Biology: • 1. Cursed the Fig Tree ( Matt 21:19-22 ) • 2. His Virgin Birth ( Isa 7:14; Luke 1:31, 34-35 ) Faith via the Miracles

  10. What do the Miracles tell us? • 1. Jesus is the Lord of the Creation. • All Nature; i.e., the Sea • 1. Walking on water (Matt 14:25) • 2. “Peace Be Still” (Mark 4:39). Faith via the Miracles

What do the Miracles tell us? • The Blessing of Believing in His Miracles • Luke 7:22 And He answered and said to them, "Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have the gospel preached to them. • 23 "And blessed is he who keeps from stumbling over Me." Faith via the Miracles

God Made Jesus Both Lord And Christ By His Resurrection • Acts 2:24 "And God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. • 32 "This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. • 36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ-- this Jesus whom you crucified." Faith via the Miracles

God Made Jesus Both Lord And Christ By His Resurrection • The Gospel Message! • 1 Cor 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ diedfor our sins according to the Scriptures, • 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, • It happened according to the Scriptures! Faith via the Miracles

God Made Jesus Both Lord And Christ By His Resurrection • God Raised Up Jesus! • Acts 3:15 “whom God raised” • Acts 3:26 “God raised up His Servant” • Acts 4:10 “whom God raised” • Acts 13:30 “But God raised Him” • Acts 13:37 “but He whom God raised” • Romans 1:4 “who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection of the dead…” Faith via the Miracles

  21. Because of His Resurrection, All men must Confess Him. • Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"-- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, • 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus {as} Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; • 10 for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
