  3. What is automatic checkout? • Automatic checkout is the use of radio frequency identification (RFID) on merchandise.

  4. What is radio frequency identification (RFID)? • Radio frequency identification is a tiny computer chip that is mounted on a tag attached to a product or sewn into an article of clothing.
