    2. Antenatal patient, Anti-Fya, Anti-Jka, Anti-s (also needs C- E- K-) O neg Due 23/10/2007 Require ~ 4units for mother and suitable unit(s) for baby. Samples 28/08 and 11/10 Fya Titre: 32, anti-Jka and anti-s : too weak to titre. Partner Fya+, Jka+, S+s+ (from hospital) EDD 23/10 Started screening in early Oct for units suitable for Mother. ADG Lab continued to screen for the rest of the month. (Also anti-s patient ongoing in MRTC) Only one donor from our panel with the required history. To cover from the weekend before – started to call in C-E-Jka-Fya-S+ donors (no historical s type) Managed to have 4-5 units available for Mother Notified by hospital that patient was in labour, Called in the suitable donor Birth uneventful No Blood requirement for mother or Baby.
