    5. Work of the Jury Before the consensus conference: Jury to be provided with state of the knowledge research (mid-October final draft available, November published) Jury to be provided with briefing papers from the experts Chair and Vice Chair could be invited to the final meeting of the PrepCom (where the focus will be both ‘briefing’ for the consensus conference and planning of follow-up and outcomes) FEANTSA office can provide additional briefings on the consensus methodology, EU context etc – regular contact FEANTSA office and chair of PrepCom could visit Chair of the jury to prepare

    6. At the consensus conference: The jury will hear the experts and will, alongside the public “cross-examine” them. After the consensus conference: 11th and 12th – jury meet and are supported by the FEANTSA secretariat to reach the consensus. The Chair of the jury to proceed over the meeting and the agenda will comprise of the key questions. Process of comment and review as the report is completed in Jan/Feb. In terms of the longer term follow-up there is not a specific role foreseen for the jury beyond ad-hoc ambassador work to the extent that they are interested – eg could be a role for Máté Szabó in relation to Hungarian presidency.

    9. Progress so far Consensus Conference leaflet finalised and distributed Consensus Conference leaflet distributed at the press release for the Joint Report 2010 Visibility on the FEANTSA website Save the date in FEANTSA newsletter Visibility at the launch of FEANTSA’s campaign 14th April

FEANTSA to send out: -pre-announcement -announcement -additional ‘moments’- publication of reports, jury, questions -updates Media work – press pack for FEANTSA members; work with EU-level media; thematic milestone Social Media – facebook page Live streaming of the event Visibility at key events in 2010 – round table etc Action from other PrepCom members…

Dissemination of the outcomes to maximise policy impact Links to Hungarian Presidency There are a number of openings to the Hungarian presidency – Commissioner Andor, Máté Szabo, PrepCom members, FEANTSA members, Perm Rep in Brussels Dissemination of the report Maintaining access to live streaming outcomes

    15. Venue Theatre national communauté française Capacity – 400 people on one level Required technical specifications Extra room for the jury/press Accessible (both in terms of location and reduced mobility) Required space and facilities for lunch etc

    18. Participants The budget covers 400 participants. We have foreseen the following in the budget: 120 FEANTSA (including 40 no accommodation) 30 experts and jury 90 country reps (1 public authority; 1 person with experience of homelessness; 1 additional expert for 30 countries) 30 EC staff and invited 80 Belgians (including 40 no accommodation) 10 Presidency staff (no accommodation) PrepCom
