According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 11:20 at the intersection of North Main Street and Hogan Street. 5. Child Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on Aldine Bender Road The Houston Police Department is investigating an auto versus pedestrian collision on Aldine Bender Road in Harris County, Friday evening. According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Aldine Bender and Imperial Valley Drive. Police said that a child, identified only as a nine-year-old boy, was running around a playground when a passing car struck him. The driver of the undescribed vehicle did not render aid to the boy and escaped the scene.
