SENIOR NEWS • Check Graduation List in the bottom of the 400 building ASAP!! • See Mr. Camburn in Room 410 for any changes. • Initial if everything is Correct!! • Senior Pictures • Thursday, November 8th – A – Kh • Friday November 9th – Ki – Z • We will call down by last name when we are ready for them. • Please have $20 sitting fee ready at the door if you are purchasing extra proofs.

  4. Underclass Photos • November 14-16 • 9th -11th graders • Please have MONEY READY!! • You will get an ID. • Potential graduates (should wait until February to take your photo with the Seniors or grade 12)

  5. College Application Week • College Application Week is November 13-16 • Many colleges WAIVE their APPLICATION FEES!!! • This is the BEST TIME TO SUBMIT COLLEGE APLICATIONS for FREE!! • Come see Ms. Staton for your ticket.

  6. Congratulations!!! Go Hawks!! • Congratulations to the Men’s Soccer Team and Football Team for making the Conference Playoffs. • Football DECIMATED the Hough High Huskies, 45 – 10!!! • Men’s Soccer gave it their all against the Huskies… Great Season and Good Luck next Year.

  7. National Technical Honor Society • Mandatory Meeting • Monday November 5th • 2:25 in room 505 • Please make plans to attend.

  8. HOSA • Meeting in Room 401 TODAY at 2:30 • Please Plan to attend and have transportation arranged.

Cross Country • The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams wrapped an excellent season at regional’s. • The Mens Team • Junior Alex Day who ran a team low 19 min 46 sec • Followed by Andre Day and sophomore David Wooten. • Joseph Burns and Andre Day  both ran their lowest times of the year. • The Women’s Team • led by Senior Kate Hardin • With help from freshman Faith Ann Bailey, freshman Ashley Cousins, junior Alicia Griffith and senior Chantal Belk. • End of year party will be Thursday, Nov. 8th. See  Mr Cathey for details.

  16. All Swimmers • All Paperwork Due immediately. • Order for Swim suits and uniforms need to be handed in. • Waiver Fee is due immediately. • All Members should meet at the bus in the back of the school by the tennis courts to attend practice.

  18. Prom Committee • November 13th • We will be meeting with the DJ from Rave Pro and continuing to discuss decorations and the theme. Please be sure you are present at meetings if you want the benefits.

  19. Anime Club • Anime club meets every Wednesday!! • Room 828 2:30 - 4pm, please have a ride. Anime club is still accepting members, if you had missed out on club rush then you can still join if you're an anime lover or just want to draw, even if you don't, you can learn

  20. Softball • If you are interested in being on the Spring 2013 Softball Team please see Ms. Autry in the Gym!

  22. OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS? Do you have overdue library items? You need to bring them back so that others may enjoy them. NO fines if you bring the items back.

  23. Executive Council Meeting The regular meeting dates have been set for the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month.

  24. AVID MANTRA I WILL STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE IN ALL THAT I DO. THERE IS NO PLATEAU THAT I CAN NOT REACH, NO GOAL THAT I CAN’T ACCOMPLISH; BECAUSE I AM AN ACHIVER. “WITHOUT STRUGGLE, THERE IS NO PROGRESS” I WILL PREVAIL.
